L'Shir
L'Shir is one of the three co-ed a cappella groups that was established at the University of Hartford in the spring of 2000 by Benjamin Rauch and Meara Lebovitz. Originally the group only contained Jewish members, but has evolved into a group of all practices and talents. UHarmonies is the University of Hartford's only a cappella group for all treble voices. UHarmonies was created in 2007 by Chrissy Fulmer with a handful of girls who loved to sing. Treble Threat, the newest co-ed a cappella group, was created in 2018 by Kristen VanDerlyn, Peyton Tinder, and Madeline Dalton to cater to the busy schedule of Hartt Theatre students who still longed to participate in the activity. Despite being created with Theatre majors in mind, the group is open to students from all schools and programs within the University. Hawkapella
Hawkapella, is the all-male a cappella group at the University of Hartford. Formed in 2001 by, Steve Wolf and Justin Moran. The first iteration of the group set out not only to make great music, but to have as much fun as possible while doing it.
